With this mission in heart, Palma Aquarium is delighted to unveil its captivating Educational Program for the 2023-2024 academic year, promising a compelling and educational experience for students of all ages.


A Focus on Marine Conservation

The Educational Program revolves around the central theme of marine conservation. The aim is to ignite a passion for marine protection within students, making them proactive advocates for our oceans. Palma Aquarium invites students to join them on an exciting experience guided by Ocean Experts, exploring the wonders of the Mediterranean Sea and encountering vibrant tropical fish. Every corner of Palma Aquarium offers an extraordinary opportunity to delve deeper into the world of marine biodiversity.


Tailored Educational Experiences

Considering the diverse educational levels, the program is thoughtfully structured to ensure inclusivity for all, from primary to senior school. The curated activities are tailored to each group's needs, empowering students to delve into the fascinating marine world according to their understanding level.


Primary Younger students will have the opportunity to learn about marine animals and the challenges they face through captivating stories. These include:

  • The thrilling rescue of Valentina, the sea turtle.

  • The delightful 'Song of the Sea.'

  • The engaging tale of Gladius and the humpback whale.

Junior school students can engage in a trivia game to learn about the Mediterranean seahorse and explore the conservation efforts incorporated in the "Cavallets de mar Balears" project. They will also learn about sustainable fishing and actively participate in a simulation focused on rescuing sea turtles or dolphins, fostering a deeper understanding of what can be done to protect these marine creatures.


Secondary Teenagers will explore the biology of Mediterranean sharks through Palma Aquarium's "Petits taurons – Acció Stellaris" conservation project, engage in fish dissection to understand their anatomy, and discover the formation of coral reefs.


Primary Students in the final two years of secondary school will gain insights into the critical work of the Palma Aquarium aquarists and their pivotal role in animal conservation.

3D Cinema Aquadome

School Camps
